Development Director at the FCDO, Beth Cadman, and Health advisor Uzo Gilpin, has paid a field visit to some CRIB project implementation sites today
They were joined by the CRIB team from CHAG which was led by the Executive Director, Dr. Peter Yeboah
Upon arrival at the Hospital, the team was met by traditional leaders of the community, administrative staff of the hospital who together toured the facility to familiarize themselves with some ongoing CRIB projects and other essential services at the facility.
She officially commissioned a pre-fabricated COVID-19 isolated unit built at the St Elizabeth Catholic Hospital, Hwidiem, to support COVID-19 management in the Ahafo Region
She was highly appreciative of the efforts of the CRIB team for their COVID-12 response actions which have so far contributed to
She used the opportunity to assess immunization of children and also HIV care of mothers and newborns particularly the PMTCT at both the St Elizabeth Hospital and St Mary’s Hospital in Drobo.
The team extended their visit to include the mental health units at both facilities to familiarize themselves with ongoing services which have previously received funding from the UKaid.
